Terms of service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
In short: you pay for a plan in advance, monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment. Your designs belong to you. Direkta helps with design decisions, and you stay responsible for what you build and ship.
1. Who we are
Direkta ("Direkta", "we", "us") is a software product for product design. These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Direkta. The name and address of the business that provides your plan are shown on every invoice we send, and we will give them to you on request at info@direktadesign.com.
By sending a plan request, paying an invoice or using Direkta, you agree to these terms. If you use Direkta for a company, you confirm that you may agree to them for that company.
2. The service
Direkta is a set of design methods, checks and tools that you use inside your own Claude account through a connector. It plans, designs, audits, fixes, prototypes and documents product designs in your own Figma file. Direkta does not edit Figma itself: your Claude does the work in your file, following Direkta's steps.
Direkta is new and still changing. We add, improve and sometimes remove features. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to that email secure.
- A plan is for one person. Do not share your sign-in with others. A studio that needs several people can ask us for more accounts.
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy a plan.
- You give us accurate details and tell us if your email address changes.
4. Plans and payment
- Prices. Plan prices are shown on our pricing section in US dollars. Any taxes, bank or card charges on your side are yours.
- Billing in advance. Plans are paid in advance for one month or one year. We email you an invoice with a secure payment link before each period starts. A plan renews for the next period only when you pay the next invoice.
- Unpaid invoices. If an invoice is not paid within 7 days of the start of its period, we may pause your access until it is paid.
- Monthly limits. Each plan has a monthly limit on its largest jobs: audits (including audits of a live website), fix runs, design and redesign runs, and new design systems. The limits for each plan are on our pricing section. A job counts when it starts. Limits reset on the 1st of each month (UTC), and unused jobs do not carry over. All other commands are unlimited, within fair use.
- Founding member offer. The first 50 customers on the founding member plan pay the founding price for as long as their subscription continues without a break. If you cancel, or an invoice goes unpaid for more than 30 days, the founding price ends and is not available again.
- Price changes. We may change plan prices. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it applies only from your next period after that.
- Changing plans. You can move to another plan by email. The new plan starts from your next period, or straight away with the difference invoiced.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time by emailing info@direktadesign.com. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and we send no further invoices. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment, with no conditions. The details are in our refund and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.
We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we end your account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of your current period.
6. Fair use
You agree not to:
- copy, resell, publish or share Direkta's instructions, playbooks, checks or other content that Direkta sends to your Claude, or try to extract them in bulk;
- build a competing product from them, or reverse engineer the service;
- use automated scripts to run commands at a volume no person would, or try to get around the monthly limits;
- use Direkta for anything unlawful, to deceive people, to build dark patterns, or to infringe anyone else's rights;
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or other customers' data.
7. Your work and ours
- Your work is yours. You own your Figma files, your designs and everything Direkta helps you produce in them, as far as the law allows. We claim no rights in them.
- Ours stays ours. Direkta's methods, playbooks, checks, scoring, house style, software and brand belong to us. Your plan gives you a personal right to use them while your plan is active. It does not transfer ownership.
- Feedback. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Direkta without owing you anything.
8. AI results and your decisions
Direkta works through AI models, which can make mistakes. Review everything before you use it or show it to anyone. In particular:
- Direkta's checks cover what a design file can show. They are not a certificate of accessibility, legal compliance or usability, and they do not replace testing your built product with real people.
- Text Direkta writes for your screens, including prices, policies and legal wording, is a draft. Where it has no source from you, it is marked for you to confirm.
- Sample people, reviews and figures in designs are examples, and are labelled as such.
- You decide what to build and ship, and you are responsible for your product.
9. Claude, Figma and other services
To use Direkta you need your own Claude account (from Anthropic) and your own Figma account. Those services are provided and billed by their owners under their own terms, and Direkta's commands use part of your Claude allowance. We are not responsible for them, for changes they make, or for their availability. Direkta is an independent product and is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Anthropic or Figma.
10. Human design services
Work that needs a person, such as user interviews, moderated tests or final sign-off, is a separate service. It is quoted per task by email, and the quote sets its own scope, price and payment terms. It is not part of any plan.
11. Liability
Direkta is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability to you for anything related to Direkta is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Direkta changes. If a change matters to customers, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your current period.
14. Law and disputes
If something goes wrong, please email us first and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of Direkta is established, as shown on your invoice, without taking away any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
